Take on the experience of the 50 Mile Obliteride route for 2019. This fan favorite route is the perfect challenge for cyclists who are ready to step up their training and tackle a mid-century ride. Riders will love beginning their experience with the 25- and 100-mile riders as they all roll through the University of Washington where they will be led out of the city along the beautiful Lake Washington shoreline. Once passing rowing clubs, sandy beaches, and beautiful parks riders will pair off from the 100-mile route in Renton and head north towards Newport and Bellevue where they will be led onto the Mercer Island loop. This beautiful section of the 50-mile route includes challenging hills, restful descents, and views that you just can’t beat. After looping around Mercer Island, cyclists begin their descent back into the city where they will re-join the 100-mile riders and finish their route towards Gas Works Park and the Obliteride Finish Line. Check out our route stop map for specific locations, and check out our Ride with GPS map.
