2026 Obliteride 5K Walk/Run Route

Be part of an amazing community as you walk or run with us this year. We’re in this to fundraise, support each other, and have fun doing it! And remember — it’s not a race! Obliteride does not track or post official finish times.

5K Walk/Run

Feel the joy on our 5K route as you join a welcoming community committed to life-changing research! Our family-friendly 5K takes walkers and runners from the University of Washington to Gas Works Park, with one water stop at the halfway mark. For most of the route, you’ll follow Seattle’s multi-use Burke-Gilman Trail. This route is flat, fully paved, wheelchair-accessible, and great for participants of all ages and abilities. Download the 5K GPS route.

START TIME: 8 a.m.

START LINE: University of Washington, E-18 parking lot

FINISH LINE: Gas Works Park

Due to external factors (such as weather, road conditions, or construction) all timing and routes are subject to change. There will be a number of safety and support elements for Obliteride on August 8. Any pre-event training on the Obliteride routes must be done at your own risk.
