The 'no bike' required way to become an Obliterider.

virtual riders

We get it; not everyone can ride with us in August, but don’t let that stop you from fundraising for Fred Hutch. Virtual Riders are a big part of the fundraising story and here are a few ways to think about how you participate virtually. Ride throughout the year (inside or out), track your mileage, fundraise, and hit the target. As long as you hit the fundraising minimums, we’ll count you, send you a jersey and keep you in the know.

The icing on the cake is that you're still eligible to receive the same incentives as the riders. So...raise $500 and you're invited along with 1 guest to the kickoff party on Friday night or raise $2,000 and you're a Pacesetter and get a surprise Obliteride branded item.

So if you find yourself out of town, at a wedding, family reunion or anything else August 11-13, 2017, think about fundraising or riding virtually throughout the year. To become a virtual rider, simply register, set a fundraising goal of your choice, setup your personal fundraising page and go at it, start bringing in the money.

If you’re fundraising, but not riding, consider tying your efforts to an activity you love, like running or walking, track your miles and ask for donations for every mile you exercise; if that's gardening, plant a flower in honor of every donation you receive. Reality is that you don't need a bike to be an Obliterider, you just need to need share our mission that we can cure cancer faster through research at Fred Hutch.
